Omnium1 tablet is built on Android Kit Kat 4.4.2 platform, and like any other rather sophisticated operating systems, over time it may get slowed down due to software application caching, temporary files, etc. created and left over during the usage or during improper shutdown and application crashes. Sometimes this even caused system instability, system refuses to boot-up properly (i.e. boot screen logo keep flashing up in a loop).
The easiest way to “clean-up” your system is by clearing your system cache partition without losing your existing data. Follow the steps below.
1. Shutdown your tablet.
2. Press POWER and VOLUME (+) button at the same time to bring out the boot menu
3. Use VOL (+) button to move selection to [Recovery Mode]
4. At the Android Mascott Screen, press POWER button once to bring up the next menu
5. Use VOL (-) button to move selection to [wipe cache partition] and then press VOL (+) once to select
Follow the next few confirmation screen to confirm the wiping of cache partition.
